Northern Sons Engineering

Mining and earthmoving equipment maintenance, both on & off‐site, Project management. Ph. 0447 798 288

Northern Sons Engineering (NSE) commenced business in 2009 with our core business being to specialise in the assembly of large, heavy mining equipment. To achieve this, our philosophy was to employ highly skilled and experienced personnel in this field with a view to delivering quality workmanship and projects completed on‐time, on‐budget and with zero injuries and incidents.
Since inception NSE have successfully completed over 80 new machine builds, on time, within budget, without incident and with a focus on safety for major Equipment Manufacturer’s across Australia.
To cater for the ongoing fluctuations in the market we set out to primarily target, NSE saw a need to not only expand on the service we originally offered clients, but also to diversify into other related areas, whilst still remaining closely aligned to our core business.
With this in mind, NSE aligned itself with various machinery procurement businesses and Equipment Auction houses around the world. This now allows Northern Sons to provide a ‘one‐stop‐shop’ and offer clients a service that includes locating and procuring the piece of equipment required, providing personnel and equipment to disassemble and prepare for local or international transport, organise shipping and then reassembly and commissioning of the equipment at the arrival destination. We aim to provide viable solutions for every aspect of what can sometimes become a logistical nightmare.
In 2012, NSE established workshop facilities north of Brisbane and have secured contracts with local Government agencies and major Civil Contractors for the ongoing repair and refurbishment of a range of earthmoving equipment.
Whilst the below summary is a broad overview of NSE’s capabilities, we pride ourselves on finding safe, viable and economical solutions for any issue or problem presented to us by any client.
